UCPCM Political Action Committee (PAC) Clause
I Political Action Committee (PAC):

A. UCPCM has one PAC, which is composed of members or professionals who are
enthusiastic about members’ political rights. It has one chairperson and several vice
chairpersons, responsible for involving in various bills relating to TCM and acupuncture,
participating in political actions, meetings, and hearings relating to members rights,
reporting to BOD, raising, managing and contributing PAC fund, networking with related
organizations to advocate members’ legal rights.

B. BOD will appoint professionals to be the members of the PAC.

C. PAC has a PAC account, managed and distributed by the committee. All the contributions
are in checks with the signatures of chairperson and vice chairperson. If the check
amount is more than $500, the president should be informed.
II PAC Fund:
A. Every member of UCPCM is recommended to pay $80 political action fee as the basic
PAC working fund.
B. PAC fund is used and distributed according to federal laws following proper accounting
and reporting procedures.
